Dominic began his career at an early age where he performed with local theatre groups.  He trained in Melbourne and went on to perform in the professional Australian Productions of “Jesus Christ Superstar” (John Farnham), “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Tina Arena) and “Always Patsy Cline” (Deborah Conway) and also appeared on the original cast recordings of those productions.

Dominic has lived, worked and travelled extensively throughout many parts of the world. For a number of years, Dominic was based in London where he worked closely with top producers, teachers, talent schools, agents and performers gaining valuable experience over a career that has spanned more than 20 years.

 

Dominic has appeared in proclaimed West End Productions of “My Fair Lady”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, “City Of Angels”, “We Will Rock You” and “The Andrew Lloyd Webber Spectacular”…touring with these shows throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, Dubai and the United States. He has also been a lead vocalist with many world-class production shows and has toured worldwide performing his own cabaret show on charted cruise liners.

Beyond his musical theatre credits, Dominic has enjoyed a successful pop music career. A particular highlight for Dominic was being signed by Sony Music and receiving chart success with pop bands “Eclipse” and “Culture Shock” in his home county, Australia.  The hit song “The Look of Love” has a following of several hundreds of thousand of fans worldwide and has been viewed over 300,000 times on YouTube (take a look at the Gallery). Dominic has also fronted Melbourne's iconic tribute band 80's Enuff.

 

In May 2016, “Sunday Sessions” was born – a chilled afternoon of live music, friends and family and wonderful food and wine – held the first Sunday of the month in South Melbourne.  Each month Dom sings a varied repertoire, accompanied by Andrew Patterson on piano and joined by special guests.  After a successful 12 months, in 2017 Dominic released “Sunday Sessions” the album – a collection of some of the most requested songs from the monthly event (available for purchase from this site, on iTunes and Spotify).

 

Dominic has a sincere love of performing, together with an energy, excitement and professionalism that a live audience whole-heartedly enjoy and connect with. He takes audiences on a musical journey that will leave them smiling, feeling uplifted and wanting more. Dom is available for private functions and special events. He is also a qualified vocal coach and can be booked for vocal tuition and audition preparation.
